Thought I best add some work and not just my mind workings otherwise you all might get bored.
Briefing.
Franz Kafka's Metamorphosis.
Read and Respond using Storyboards to create an Animatic.
Your are NOT allowed to directly illustrate the story or Portray the Insect.
The story itself is really quite bizarre, and tbh not one i will be reading on a regular basis, but it certainly contains alot of emotions.

So how does one respond?
One goes absolutely mad, listens to weird music and thinks outside the box thats how.
I chose to respond to the story by using the violin that Greggor's sister plays in the story, the violin that tempts Greggor out of his room.
Each different colour in my response represents a family member.
To depict the mood of the story i wanted music to contrast with the stereotype of the classical violin, i wanted to choose something contemporary and experimental. In the end i chose the opening from Kings of Leon song Closer.

So as you can see i took the brief one step further and decided to create an animation. I hear you ask whats the difference between an animation and an animatic, an animtic is simply a slide show i guess you could say, a series of still images to music and well you all know what an animation is.

So after presenting this in my crit, a few comments were made although the outcome was very praised and did alot better then i had thought, tutors enjoyed it and its whole concept, thank god.

This is the new and final outcome. It was in perfect timing with the beats of the music which was the main flaw in the first one, but due to converting so many times it has be lost. :[ sad times.
